Some fashion tips - ruffles, color and new trend - Un po' di moda

We all have our fashion favorite trends. Here are some of my latest obsessions. Ruffles and ruffles everywhere. They are feminine and romantic. The blue ruffle blouse Olivia Palermo is wearing in the first picture is one of my favorite ones. I was tempted to buy one the other day. I didn't but I am for sure going to buy it. It can be styled with a maxi skirt, with white pants or a pencil skirt as well. It is a very versatile piece.


Abbiamo tutti i nostri trend di moda preferiti. Anche se ho da sempre dichiarato che non amo i trend concettualmente perché ognuno dovrebbe indossare quello che più ama e più si adatta alla propria taglia, colori, capelli ecc..., ci sono pur tuttavia, dei trend che non passano inosservati. Quest'anno sono stata intrigata dai fronzoli delle camicie di cotone rigate, soprattutto nei toni del bianco e del blu. Sono femminili e romantiche e super adatte a tutte, purché portate con grazia e senza esagerare. Le camicie e magliette di cotone sono poi un passepartout, vanno bene in ufficio, con una gonna formale, con i pantaloni o con una maxi gonna estiva.

Wednesday's fashion - Il mercoledì è fashion

E' da un po' che manco l'appuntamento del mercoledì dedicato alle mie preferenze modaiole del momento. Sarà perché con la primavera si risveglia anche il desiderio di rinnovare il proprio guardaroba, saranno i colori della stagione, più rigogliosi e accesi che mai, o una serie di altri motivi che il maxi dress colorato è la mia scelta per questo caldo primaverile. O probabilmente, detto fra noi, sarà perché il maxi dress nasconde perfettamente eventuali inestetismi piccoli difetti fisici, ma esalta anche la figura e "slancia" molto. Insomma, oggi vi propongo una scelta di maxi dress colorati che si intonano perfettamente con la stagione. Ma se non volete essere troppo appariscenti, potete sempre optare per il vestito maxi in versione monochrome, un perfetto passpartout versione giorno e sera. Zara e Mango offrono un'ampissima scelta. It has been a long time since I last published a post on the weekly "fashion'Wednesdaay" appointment. I am in the mood for long long maxi colorful dresses. Perhaps it is spring with all the colors of nature that inspire me so much (notwithstanding seasonal allergies....), perhaps it is the desire to renovate and overhaul my entire wardrobe or maybe there are a million other reasons, but I am definitely loving maxi dresses. Deep down inside myself I know the real reason: it is because they make you look trendy, faddish, and last but not least, they hide physical flaws like cellulites. Here is a gallery of maxi colorful dresses. You can of course Always turn to the monochrome version which turns out to be a perfect go to dress even for evening dinners or events. Stay tuned!!!

Wednesday's fashion - Ispirazione moda

Rieccomi! Sono stata molto assente perché praticamente travolta da Carnevale, scelta del costume, preparativi vari e tanto tanto lavoro. Il post di oggi è, come da tradizione di mercoledì, dedicato ad alcune mie scelte fashion e di come la moda può essere giustapposta a scelte decorative nell'interior design. Summer outfits - Outfit per l'estate

Today I want to share with you my fave outfits for the summer. Practical and soooo chic! I am desperately coveting these two fabulous dresses, one for the office (I am still working helas) and the other for my sunny week-ends by the spellbinding Tyrrhenian seaside. By the way, in the next days I will show you some spots of the wonderful coast town where I am spending my week-ends and where I will hopefully be spending the forthcoming 10 ten days. I am loving prints lately! Really chic, especially if you wear them like these super elegant ladies!!! Don’t you think? 

Oggi vorrei condividere con voi alcuni outfit estivi. Pratici e davvero chic! Sto letteralmente bramando un vestito per l'ufficio e uno per i miei fine settimana in riva al mare come quelli che ho scelto per voi. E a proposito di giorni trascorsi al mare, se sarete collegati, prometto scorci incantevoli direttamente dalla costa Tirrenica dove trascorrerò alcuni giorni in totale relax. 
Ultimamente, sono innamorata delle stampe. Uno dei miei più recenti acquisti sono stati un paio di pantaloni H & M, neri con un motivo bianco stampato. Eccezionale la vestibilità! Che ne pensate delle stampe? Non sono chic, specialmente se portate con l'eleganza e la raffinatezza di queste icone di moda?

fashion tip of the day (working outfit) - Cosa indossare per un pranzo di lavoro

I had an important meeting the other day which was followed by an important working lunch. Working appointments do require a certain outfit as we, working mums know. I put on my white shirt and my very comfy black trousers. Last but not least, with my original pearl earrings on I actually looked very good. But it was too classic and I wasn’t really satisfied with the outfit, even though I had a classy and professional look. I found this photo from the great blog “from me to you” that I want to share with you. Given that the model has got my same colors, same hair color, and pretty much similar features, I am loving this day New York outfit, which would perfectly fit me and would really be suitable for an important work meeting. Don’t you think? 

L'altro giorno avevo un importante impegno di lavoro seguito da un pranzo e da altri incontri altrettanto importanti. Gli appuntamenti di lavoro richiedono anche una mise adatta al luogo, al contesto e alle persone che incontri. Personalmente, punto sempre su pezzi classici, camicia bianca e pantalone nero, arricchendo tutto con orecchini di perle e un filo di perle al collo. Ultimamente, però ritengo questi due pezzi fin troppo classici, quasi da uniforme da lavoro. Si può certamente avere un aspetto molto professionale, mischiando qualche capo e aggiungendo un tocco di colore. Vi propongo questa foto newyorkese che riflette in pieno quello che intendo dire. Un pantalone a sigaretta, alto in vita, con una cintura di pelle, una camicia di seta con una bella fantasia che riprenda anche il colore delle scarpe. Il risultato finale? Classe e professionalità assicurata. Che ne pensate?
