The more I get involved in blogging on interior design the more I get convinced that Fashion and Design are so profoundly intertwined with each other. Is fashion that influnces Interior design choices or vice-versa? I think that when a color scheme becomes a trend in fashion it automatically becomes a trend in Design as well. That's the case for stripes. You find them everywhere, in the fashion industry and in furniture. Ikea offers a really wide range of striped rugs and cushions and sofas. A post will be dedicated to the topic, I promise. I am particularly keen on stripes and I am loving them in interior design as well. On the other hand while I love bold colored suits and outfits I do not really approve them when applied to an interior.
