There is a magical place in Rome, it's a restaurant/café that almost two centuries ago was the atelier of one of the greatest Italian artists, Antonio Canova, a sculptor that spent most of his life in Rome and left the city and its galleries a myriad masterpieces renowned all over the world. The atelier where he worked with one of his trustful students that followed in his footsteps, Tadolini, has become one of the most fascinating cafés in Rome and fortunately reopened a few years ago after decades. It is in via del Babuino, just a few steps from the Babuino statue where during the Temporal power of the Popes unknown poets denounced injustices committed by the most prominent personalities of the city or real problems of the people of Rome. I love via del Babuino and I am in love with the Canova-Tadolini café, the ideal place for a tea in Rome. Here are some pictures! You sip your coffee in the middle of statues made by Canova and Tadolini themselves. Isn't it incredible and a little bit surreal? It seems that the statues are taking a coffee too. Have a look at the wonderful pictures and have a great week-end!

A beautiful corner in Rome - Dove andare a Roma
