Quando si tratta di "charme", associo in maniera quasi automatica questo concetto a tutto ciò che ruota all'essere francese, dall'interior design, allo stile, alla moda. La parola stessa trae origine dal francese e in un certo senso è intraducibile, perché racchiude in sé "qualcosa che attira e affascina" ed è strettamente connesso ad una sorta di magia che emana un oggetto, una persona o in questo caso, un appartamento. Gli appartamenti francese sono semplicemente pieni di charme. Chi può negarlo? C'è qualcosa di magico in questi interni e quando mi ci imbatto, mi sento come attirata, quasi affetta dalla sindrome di Stendhal, ad addentrarmi in essi e ad avere una visione più d'insieme, perché l'interno e il modo in cui lo arrediamo rappresenta anche la nostra visione della vita e delle cose. E' quello che ho provato davanti a questo appartamento, in apparenza minimale e neutro, ma nonostante tutto, affascinante e sostanzialmente francese. Vi troverete poi delle soluzioni contenitive estremamente pratiche e intelligenti, come la libreria con le ante che funge anche da mobile per il televisore o piano d'appoggio. Godetevi il tour!
When it comes to the word "charm", I immediately associate it with everything French, from interior design to style and fashion. The word itself has a French origin, it derives from charme, which in a sense cannot be translated and whose meaning is "a trait that fascinates, allures, or delights" and it is stricktly connected to some kind of spell or magic emanating from an object, a person or in our case, an apartment. French apartments are simply charmful. Who would deny that? There is something magical in them and when I stumble upon them, I somewhat feel like enchanted and drawn to have a more scrutinize them in a sense. Stendhal syndrome can can be applied to the perception and the reaction you have to a piece of art, but also to a beautiful apartment. This is how I felt when I came across this apartment today. It is simply enchanting and charmful. It is a Parisian apartment. The architect has realised some very smart and practical space solutions, like the built-in storage/library or the sliding doors cabinet in the corridor. Enjoy the tour!
