Today was one of thos wintery crisp, windy and snowy (without snow) days in Rome. I am not a lover of cold weather but I love when the air is chilly and dry and before Christmas festivities everything looks jolly and happy. The atmosphere is still tense and heavy but we have to look at the beautiful things that surround us, right? Store façades have been decorated and Christmas lights are ready to be switched on. By the way, I am planning to post some snaps of Rome under Christmas time. This wintery, snowy weather brings me to the fashion selection of today's post, white winter outfits. White is the perfect choice for those of us who love to stand out and look great in the middle of so many all black and dark winter outfits. Please, wear white, if you can! It is glam, it is timeless and super elegant. Give it a try and have a great week-end!

White Christmas and white outfits - Il bianco Natale ispira la moda

Eccovi qualche idea! Al prossimo post!
Do it yourself wall art is just fun and worth doing, if you have the right touch, the right inspiration and of course, the right wall to decorate. I am always looking for some inspiration out there, because many of my walls are still suffering from the "horror vacui "symptom (which I love, but the extreme sense of void may be boring and too whitelooking). I always find great ideas of DiY wall art and painted panels, canvases , MDF pieces, some wall paper etc. In the majority of times it is contemporary/geometric art that turns to be much more accessible to a Diy-er,with beautiful outcomes. Here is a selection of DiY paintings for contemporary interiors. Be inspired!

ciao a tutti!
Hi there! Today I want to share with you all a very nice small apartement in Paris, right around the corner where the tragedy of the week end happened. The apartment is not very spacious, but its spaces are so well distributed. It is just the right place to get relaxed and think of the beautiful corners of Paris, of its canals, of its marvellous places and of its grandeur. I especially like the kitchen hidden behind the glass panel. It opens up the kitchen to the living and unites the two spaces, thus creating a in a very convivial space. Have a beautiful and bright day!

Friday's fashion - Ispirazione moda autunno
Today's post is about fashion and color inspiration! I was chit chatting with some friends and recalling some of our hobbies and things we liked to do when we were younger. Would you guess what I liked to do? Design interiors and sketches of fashion outfits. I was really inspired and I wonder now where did I find that amount of inspiration, because as hard as I might try, I can't find it..... I am going to show you a snap of those skethces, because I feel rust is the color of the season. Please don't laugh at it..... Actually, I chose the color of rust because of of a beautiful post of a french blogger, www.annouchka.fr. It made me think of the color as the perfect color for this time of the year. The falling leaves of autumn are of the same color or turning into rust, it is the predominant color of Rome and its Renaissance buildings, it is so warm and elegant at the same time. Have a wonderful week-end!

Apartment of the week - Appartamento della settimana
ciao a tutti!
Hi there! I have been through some very hectic days lately and that is why I haven't been posting. On the other hand, there is no fun about blogging where you don't have an interesting interior or an interesting topic to talk about. When family issues and Preschool kid's behaviour issues come together, then my imagination runs short. But today I had an epiphany. I was scrolling through stadshem.se, one of my fave sites of Scandinavian design interiors and I stumbled upon this wonderful lofty apartment. Airy spaces, an extreme and total good taste, a few but well chosen décor pieces for a wonderful apartment. The red touches are so warm and welcoming that it doesn't even look perfectly Scandinavian, but a beautiful European interior. Spaces here are so beautifully distributed and the whole living and kitchen calls for a party. Not to mention the beautiful design of the sliding door in the bedroom and its calming and soft colors.
