DIY wall decoration ideas - Idee fai da te per decorare una parete

Il tempo è davvero tiranno! E' da una settimana che non pubblico un post.... e le idee non mancano, devo solo riuscire ad organizzarmi meglio. E' un proposito cui cerco di tener fede ogni anno, ma il più delle volte, con scarsi risultati. Oggi vi propongo delle idee originali per la decorazione delle vostre pareti. Personalmente le trovo anche molto chic ed eleganti. E poi, parliamoci chiaro, quanti di noi hanno la possibilità di acquistare pezzi d'arte che portano la firma di artisti rinomati? Ben pochi! Eccoci quindi al fai da te che non solo va di moda, ma è allo stesso tempo una maniera consapevole e oserei dire "sostenibile" per mettere alla prova la vostra fantasia in chiave low-cost. Mi è capitato di visitare case eleganti e vi assicuro che i pezzi fai da te la facevano da padrone. E poi chi non è così fortunato da avere il talento del dipinto (come mia madre), può sempre far ricorso alle idee che vi propongo. Lasciatevi ispirare!

How time flies! It's almost a week since my last post.... Anyway, here are some DIY ideas to decorate your walls without spending big amounts of money on art and paintings. I am not saying that big paintings and art pieces aren't great, but very few of us can afford to buy pieces from renouned artists. On the other hand, I just find DIY decoration (I mean low cost decoration) so chic, creative and mindful. Moreover, I have been in luxury houses where DIY decorations look so gorgeous that you don't even need to think about expensive pieces. I am so envious about those who can paint on canvases, one of them is my supertalented mother, but for those who aren't able enough to express their creativity through real painting techniques, here are some beautiful ideas for your bare walls. Decorating with straw baskets is sooooo in and I don't know but it has got a French taste to me. 

 Take a MDF piece and write down whatever you like. It will make a very contemporary piece of art. 

 Buy some vintage advertising posters and arrange them in a row. I have done it in my kitchen and the outcome is so bohemian chic and artistic.
