L'anno scorso prima di partire per le vacanze, mi ero comprata un vestitino estivo a strisce e ovviamente lunghissimo. Le mie gambe sembravano decisamente molto lunghe e addirittura sembravo ancora più magra e più alta. Si sa, il vestito lungo slancia. Ma poi l'ho feci vedere a mia madre, convinta che anche a lei piacesse quell'outfit. Va premesso che lei non ha mai portato in vita sua un vestito o una gonna lunga o addirittura maxi. Si è addirittura sposata in vestito corto, stile Jackie Kennedy, estremamente elegante ma corto. Ha portato le gonne corte, sempre sopra il ginocchio o fino al ginocchio e con gli anni che passavano solo un po' al di sotto del ginocchio. Negli anni in cui lei era giovane le gonne si usava portarle corte, basti pensare alla rivoluzione della minigonna. Pensa, e non a torto, che le gonne troppo lunghe non siano comode, specialmente d'estate. Pensò quindi bene di accorciarmela, convincendomi che sarei stata meglio con quello stesso vestito, ma corto. Mi feci convincere ma dal momento che lo misi, non riuscii più a vedermi in quello stesso vestito concepito e nato per rimanere lungo. Quando ho trovato questa gonna blu lunga della Promod sono stata felicissima, per il colore e per come la porterò quest'estate. A proposito, la mia tanto agognata vacanza inizia domani e non vedo l'ora di raccontarvi per immagini ciò che mi aspetta. Nel frattempo, ho pensato di abbinare la gonna alla camicia bianca in pizzo di Sangallo, ad una maglietta a strisce o a una semplice tee-shirt bianca. Ovviamente, gli accessori sono da considerarsi obbligatori. Non è estate senza un mega cappello di paglia e degli occhiali da sole. Ci rivediamo al mio rientro!!!!
Last year i bought myself a maxi striped summer dress that I loved of course. My legs looked absolutely longer and my Whole body sleek. It really fitted me very good. Then I showed it to my mother..... She has never worn maxi skirts in her life given the fashion of the past decades when she was younger. She thinks gipsy-like skirts or dresses aren't conformtable at all and that's why she convinced me to shorten my fave dress. The moment I did it, I began to regret my previous dress. It has lost all the beauty and I can't even look at myself with the new short dress that was conceived to remain long. That's why this year I bought myself this Promod maxi skirt and I can't wait to put it during my summer Greece Holiday. By the way, Tomorrow I am leaving and hope to give you a full and detailed account of my long craved days off by the sea. I am thinking to put it just as shown in the outfits below. With a striped shirt, with a White tee, with flat shoes and an elegant White blouse. Of course, sunglasses and a straw hat are mandatory to complete the look.
