Ci sono alcuni blog che contribuiscono a trasformare le giornate stanche, grigie e monotone in giornate piene di luce e pensieri positivi. Molti di questi blog li trovate a destra sotto la voce "Blog che seguo". Sarà per i loro contenuti, per gli articoli scritti bene, per le foto bellissime che propongono e soprattutto per quello stile molto personale e familiare che usano. Uno di questi è il blog di Joanna Goddard, Cup of Jo. E qui mi fermo, anche perché un blog come questo non ha bisogno di presentazioni. Per quei pochi di voi che non lo conoscono, vedrete che rimarrete incantati e diventerete come per magia dei lettori quotidiani. Una delle mie rubriche preferite è quella dedicata agli interni. Sono case/appartamenti normali di famiglie reali. Oggi vi ripropongo gli interni di una famiglia di San Francisco. L'appartamento si trova nel quartiere Mission, abitato prevalentemente da famiglie e giovani professionisti. There are some blogs that make me feel happy and put a smile on my face. They are bright, their posts are so nice, inspiring and well-written that thay become a daily read and a daily appointment. One of these, is Cup of Jo and I will not introduce it because it needs no introduction. Joanna Goddard is the founder of the beautiful blog. One of my favorite series is the one that features beautiful american apartments, belonging to young families. Today I am reposting some beautiful interiors from a San Francisco apartment (in the Mission Disctrict of the city, mainly inhabited by young families and professionals) that reflects in the best way the spirit of the blog itself and of course the spirit of the family that lives in it. There are some very nice ideas for a small kids bedroom. Enjo !

Plywood in interior design - Il compensato/multistrato nell'interior design

Il multistrato o il compensato è un materiale che sto piano piano apprezzando e rivalutando quando si tratta di ottimizzazione degli spazi. Forse perché sono alle prese con la creazione di una cameretta in casa e l'idea di utilizzare il multistrato/compensato potrebbe essere la soluzione migliore e soprattutto più veloce. Il multistrato è flessibile, facile da fissare alle pareti, leggero ed estremamente decorativo. Dona ad un interno quel tocco di natura che rende tutto più caldo e accogliente. In fondo si tratta di lastre di legno sovrapposte. A me piace in versione naturale, ma si presta anche ad applicazioni di qualsivoglia colore, data la superficie estremamente "ricettiva". Inoltre, ti permette di creare degli spazi nuovi dal nulla e in maniera facile, anche se non si è dei veri e propri "esperti" o professionisti. Lo so, il post di oggi può suonare leggermente tecnico, ma le immagini che vi propongo illustrano molto bene quello che intendo per flessibilità e facilità di applicazione di questo meraviglioso materiale. One of the materials I am really appreciating in interior design is plywood. I find it flexible, elegant, ductile. Apart from being a natural looking element, - is wood after all,- it seems to be the best solution to create small rooms in interiors. It is easy to fix to the walls, it is light and it adds a touch of nature to interiors of industrial or contemporary taste. In a word, new wall dividers of bricks took days or weeks to be built. The new flexible solution by using plywood, have contributed to make things simpler and easier to realize, even for those who are not in the building industry, don't you think? You can create a bookshelf or a divider out of nothing. And then, plywood simply warms them up by adding more space. Today's post might sound a little bit too technical but the images I want to share are really nice in my view. Welcome, plywood!
