Neutrals in the bedroom - Colori soft per la stanza da letto

So che potrò sembrare leggermente ripetitiva ma i colori tenui e neutri sono i miei preferiti da sempre e specialmente quando si tratta di sceglierli per la stanza da letto. Dato che quest'ultima è ancora in fase di completamento in termini di decorazione e di styling, sono continuamente alla ricerca di ispirazione, pur avendo comunque in testa un'idea ben chiara di quello che voglio ottenere. Diciamo che comincio ad avere qualche dilemma sul colore da scegliere per le pareti. Al momento, è tutto bianco, ma guardando ad alcune delle foto che vi propongo oggi, un beige tenue o un grigio deciso potrebbero essere davvero la scelta migliore per conferire all'ambienta intimità e calore. Spero vi piacciano!

I know I might sound a little bit repetitive but neutrals are my favorite colors and since my bedroom seems to be the most unacomplished and incomplete room of the appartment, I am continuously on the hunt for inspiration. Even though am almost sure of what I want for my bedroom and I already have a clear idea in my head, I am still full of dilemmas when it comes to the paint I should choose for the walls. The bedroom is still total white and there are times I would like it to be soft beige or grey. For sure I would never choose a bold paint like blue or red! Here are some of my fave bedrooms. I love the wall paint chosen for each of them, the fabrics and the bedlinen and their soft and relaxed atmosphere. Hope you enjoy!  

Room of the week - Bedroom with a view

Today's room of the week is a bedroom with a view! And what a view! There are just a few elements in this bedroom,. It is essential and streamlined. The only design choices are the fabrics (grey linen for the blinds and a cowleather carpet on the floor). The beige bare walls have been decorated by a classic arazzo, which is a very common element among rich and aristocratic families in Italy. There is no need to add elements with a view like this one. The less elements you use for the decoration, the more you can get from the stunning landscape. Nature is the absolute progatonist here! Have a nice day!

La stanza della settimana è una stanza con vista. E che vista! Pochi gli elementi d'arredo scelti per la decorazione, che viene affidata in questo caso ai tessuti pregiati (tende in lino grigio e tappeto in pelle di mucca) e ad un unico elemento di decoro, l'arazzo incorniciato, che conferisce alla stanza un tocco molto aristocratico. Se godete di una stanza con una vista come questa, lasciate che a decorarla sia la natura. L'effetto sarà semplicemente sorprendente. Buon venerdì e buon week-end a tutti!

Bedroom Mission - Missione camera da letto

Hello! Here I am with my very personal series of upcoming projects for my new apartment. The one I am posting today is about bedroom decoration choices. Far from me any allusions to the book (I haven't even fliped through its pages. It was needless because it was a mainstream topic for a long time and frankly rather annoying) I am so much shade of grey oriented for a bedroom. It would be the most appropriate choice for my bedroom which is so full of light that a neutral backdrop such as grey and its shades would have a mitigating and appeasing effect to the overflowing sun. I find it so relaxing, chic and elegant. Then, I ever have too much of it, I could always add colorful accessories to brighten up the whole atmosphere, don't you think? With a color like that you can always work on layering. Have a great day!

 

 

Ciao a tutti! Oggi vi propongo la tonalità che mi frulla nella testa da un bel po' di tempo e che occupa tutti i miei progetti di design, le sfumature di grigio. Lungi da me allusioni al libro che neanche ho mai sfogliato. Trovo il grigio così elegante per una stanza da letto e particolarmente adatto alla mia stanza da letto dove il sole entra abbondante e dove bisognerebbe mitigarne l'effetto. Con uno sfondo grigio o accessori che rimandino a qualche sua sfumatura, l'effetto Eleganza e Relax sarebbe assicurato. E nel caso dovessi averne abbastanza mi basterebbe semplicemente aggiungere qualche accessorio colorato per riportare un tocco di allegria.
