A few days ago my mother in law showed me a beautiful old crystal chandelier that she had put away, for unknown reasons, years ago. She wants me to have it. It is a beautiful handmade piece, like the ones you might find in an antiques store. It is a in very miserable condition, it will need lots of elbow grease, it needs to be polished in order to return to its former shape. It is really going to take me some time before it serves its mission again, illuminate our living. I have always been in love with clutter-free places and Scandinavian design and it means that a statement piece like the crystal pendant lamp will exonerate me from adding other decoration pieces. That's why I can't wait to hang it. On the other hand, I have been really dreaming and longing for a beautiful, old crystal pendant lamp, because chandeliers are elegant and timeless pieces. Morevoer, they look great everywhere, in the living, in a bedroom and even in a kitchen. They just add that necessary dose of glam and taste that makes you say "these old handmade objects are some of the beautiful things of life". Just have a look at the pictures and then go and dig up beautiful old things from the basement of your grannies. Have a great day!
This is how my lamp looks like!
